Sit down because I’ve been watching you all day
And I’m tired of walking down these empty streets
With no one else to meet
ONE TWO THREE FOUR
I got fired by my best friend’s brother
for the third time in fifteen days
he said you’ll never make it if you sing off pitch
with that dumb smile on your face
So I took my suitcase and took a lift
Down to the corner of the street
Where I saw a heavy metal band
With a vocalist like Lou Reed
Why does the world decide that good things end this way?
Why won’t you marry me before we go our separate ways?
I could wish I had a Camaro
Or I could wish for world peace
If I wasn’t so busy drawing lines
Between the faces that I meet

The whole production, the guitars, the melody, and Aly's voice--all of these make the EP a wonderful listening experience. The lyrics are sad and poignant, and some are more lively than the others. I'm glad I got myself a physical copy of the album, too! captseptimus

The band's long-awaited album was definitely worth the wait. A collection of tracks ingeniously, creatively, and thoughtfully created by the band that will make you love them even more than you already do, even if it sounds impossible. The songs all show sincerity and wit that a regular group of people would not just be able to display through music. Cheers to this amazing band! 🥂 💕 trisello
