Today I saw your little ring
Hiding in the sand
Put it in a canary cup
To put it in your hand
Before you walked away
Your little crochet hat
Unraveled and you sang
That’s why I’ll never pass by Lou’s coffee shop
Or speak of it again
You don’t have to apologize
Because I don’t write cards each year
There are some things I’ll learn to accept
And some I’ll learn to fear
So go walk away
I’ll pop some champagne
Bottoms up while I can
And maybe then one day
You’ll show up and say
Come back to me again

The whole production, the guitars, the melody, and Aly's voice--all of these make the EP a wonderful listening experience. The lyrics are sad and poignant, and some are more lively than the others. I'm glad I got myself a physical copy of the album, too! captseptimus

The band's long-awaited album was definitely worth the wait. A collection of tracks ingeniously, creatively, and thoughtfully created by the band that will make you love them even more than you already do, even if it sounds impossible. The songs all show sincerity and wit that a regular group of people would not just be able to display through music. Cheers to this amazing band! 🥂 💕 trisello
