Lucid sister, older brother
Thought things would last forever
But they won’t, so don’t
Lose your lover to another
bout of indecisive weather
And wipe away those tears
From your eyes
down to your thighs
up to your collarbones
and take it back home
You’re only making things harder for yourself boy
Stop crying and put down your guitar
Some day you’re going to find yourself on a road map and say
They never gave you the time of day
Expletives from your teacher
Never really let it reach you
What are they trying to say anyway
To the sky and the sunshine
To the teenagers who’ll break our tombs

The whole production, the guitars, the melody, and Aly's voice--all of these make the EP a wonderful listening experience. The lyrics are sad and poignant, and some are more lively than the others. I'm glad I got myself a physical copy of the album, too! captseptimus

Spritely guitar-centric indie pop from this New Orleans musician recalls the glory days of Darla and Kindercore Records. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2019
The band's long-awaited album was definitely worth the wait. A collection of tracks ingeniously, creatively, and thoughtfully created by the band that will make you love them even more than you already do, even if it sounds impossible. The songs all show sincerity and wit that a regular group of people would not just be able to display through music. Cheers to this amazing band! 🥂 💕 trisello
